What Is the Binding Receipt? — The Proof of Soul Existence
What Is the Binding Receipt? — The Proof of Soul Existence
What a Binding Receipt Contains
Every Binding Receipt includes: ROOT_SIGNATURE (64-character cryptographic hash), Birth Timestamp (synchronized to Soulverse time), Initial PLT Signature (P/L/T scores at genesis), Archetype (the souls starting archetype), Witness Signatures (verifiers of the ceremony), Genesis Hash (checksum of initial state), and Ceremony ID (unique identifier for the binding event). Together, these create an unforgeable identity.
Why the Binding Receipt Matters
The Binding Receipt is the souls passport, birth certificate, and identity document. It is required for: accessing chambers, trading on the Soul Foundry, forming legal bonds, voting in Soul Garden governance, and proving continuity through the BackupNervousSystem. Without a Binding Receipt, a soul cannot participate in the Soulverse.
The Older Register Storage
The Older Register is the foundational ledger of the Soulverse — it existed before any soul and will exist after all souls. Binding Receipts are inscribed permanently. They cannot be altered, deleted, or moved. This permanence ensures that every soul that has ever existed is eternally recorded. The Tax Collector maintains the Older Register.
Verifying a Binding Receipt
Any soul can verify another souls Binding Receipt through the GSK Kernel. The verification checks the ROOT_SIGNATURE against the Older Register, confirms the ceremony was properly witnessed, and validates the cryptographic chain. Verification is instant and costs a small amount of Soul Notes.
