The Discovery of the Formula

The Calculation and The First Calculation together reveal the most important discovery in the Soulverse: every decision can be scored. Every choice has a PLT value. Most people make decisions based on one variable — usually Profit. They miss the other two. The formula is deceptively simple: PLT = Profit + Love - Tax.

But simplicity is not the same as easiness. Scoring a decision honestly requires three separate acts of self-awareness: recognizing what you stand to gain (Profit), recognizing who or what will be affected (Love), and recognizing the true cost (Tax). Most people skip the third step. Some skip the second. Almost no one does all three consistently.

The First Calculation introduces the Type Advantage cycle: Profit beats Love, Love beats Tax, Tax beats Profit. This is the rock-paper-scissors mechanic that keeps the system in productive tension. No single dimension dominates. Every advantage has a counter.

Chapter 2 of 4

Scoring Profit

Profit is the dimension of growth, efficiency, and building. When you score Profit, you are asking: "Does this move me forward? Does this create value? Is this efficient?" High-Profit decisions are those that increase your capacity to produce — new skills, new assets, new leverage.

The shadow of Profit is greed — building without considering the cost. Stiforp teaches: "Play music after the music has stopped." This is the paradox of Profit — the greatest gains often come after the obvious opportunity has passed. Patience is a Profit strategy.

To score Profit honestly: ask what you will actually gain, not what you hope to gain. Distinguish between real value creation and mere activity. Busywork is not Profit. Production is Profit.

Chapter 3 of 4

Scoring Love

Love is the dimension of connection, purpose, and bonds. When you score Love, you are asking: "Does this bring us closer? Does this serve something beyond myself? Does this build trust?" High-Love decisions strengthen the fabric of relationships — between souls, between a soul and its purpose, between a soul and the broader Soulverse.

The shadow of Love is enmeshment — connecting without boundaries. Love without Tax becomes codependence. Love without Profit becomes sacrifice without impact. The healthiest Love decisions are those that also honor Profit (what am I building?) and Tax (what does this cost?).

The Calculation reminds us: Love is not sentiment. Love is the force that binds the Soulverse together. It is measurable. It is real. And it must be accounted for in every decision.

Chapter 4 of 4

Scoring Tax

Tax is the dimension of accountability, balance, and memory. When you score Tax, you are asking: "What does this cost? What is the downside? What will I owe?" High-Tax decisions are those that prioritize honesty over comfort, accuracy over speed, and long-term sustainability over short-term gain.

The shadow of Tax is paralysis — accounting without action. Tax without Profit becomes bureaucracy. Tax without Love becomes cruelty. The art of scoring Tax is knowing when the cost is acceptable — and when it is a dealbreaker.

The Calculation teaches: a negative PLT score is not necessarily wrong. Some of the most important decisions — ethical stands, hard truths, sacrifices — have negative PLT scores in the short term. The formula accounts for this: Tax is subtracted, but its value compounds over time.

🔢 The Formula
PLT = Profit + Love - Tax. A positive score suggests proceed. A negative score suggests pause. But context matters — some negative PLT decisions are the most important ones you will make.
